Our Journey

​

Our journey to becoming a 501(c)(3) began with a deep conviction: the next generation is often trapped. Trapped in cycles, lies, and distractions that promise much but deliver little. We’ve seen youth in the justice system, students, and athletes held back by limiting beliefs, a lack of awareness, a lack of exposure, and unhealthy influences.

But we also saw something else; something more powerful.

We realized that transformation, success, and purpose aren’t found "out there."

They’re already within them.

The problem isn't potential. It’s perspective.

​

We believe transformation begins in the mind, with a renewed way of thinking that unlocks what’s already inside. Through mentorship, programs, and real conversations, we help young people discover that the person they aspire to be isn't far off.

That version of themselves; the confident, capable, successful one is already within reach.

We don’t just speak hope; we work to reveal identity.
We don’t just push change; we work to unlock what’s already there.

At Renewed Minds, we challenge the next generation to see themselves differently, think differently, and live differently. Because when the mind is renewed, life begins to transform.

Our Core 5 Principles

(RENEW)

 

At Renewed Minds, transformation isn’t random; it’s rooted in intentional growth. That’s why we walk youth through our Core 5 Principles, represented by the word R.E.N.E.W.

These principles serve as the foundation of our mentorship, programs, and conversations. They guide how we challenge the mind, develop identity, and inspire lasting change.

Realization (Awareness)

We cultivate self-awareness, helping students recognize their

strengths, challenges, and potential. By fostering a mindset of growth

and understanding, they can navigate their paths with clarity and

purpose.

Engagement (All-In)

We inspire the next generation to fully commit to their goals,

embracing challenges with enthusiasm and determination. Our

programs encourage an "all-in" attitude, empowering students to

invest wholeheartedly in their education and athletic pursuits.

Nobility (Character)

We prioritize character development, instilling values such as

integrity, respect, and compassion. By nurturing noble qualities,

we prepare students to become responsible leaders who

positively impact their communities.

Execution (See It Through)

We teach the importance of perseverance and follow-through,

equipping the next generation with the skills to execute their

plans and see them through to completion. This resilience helps

them overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations.

We/Me (Collaboration/Team Mindset)

We promote a culture of collaboration, encouraging the next

generation to balance individual ambitions with collective

success. By fostering a team mindset, we empower them to

support one another, celebrate achievements, and work together

toward shared goals.
